Merlin-Image für DM 920 UHD - ketschuss - 10. Feb 2023
Das neue Merlin4 (OE2.5) basiert wie immer auf dem aktuellen Experimental-Image von DMM (Dreambox OS).
Wichtig: In den letzten Jahren waren die Experimental-Images immer sehr stabil. Da von DMM einiges umgebaut wurde und wird, kann es durchaus noch zu Fehlfunktionen kommen. Experimental-Images sind updatefähig. Sobald Weiterentwicklungen (DMM/Merlin) zur Verfügung stehen, können diese durch ein Update eingespielt werden.
Details zu den Funktionalitäten können wie immer unter Merlin Image Funktion oder im Merlin-Wiki nachgelesen werden.
Wir haben uns entschlossen, das Image weiterhin möglichst schlank zu halten. Es ist jedem selbst überlassen, wie sein persönliches Merlin aussehen soll. Selbstverständlich sind trotzdem alle Neuerungen von Seiten DMM im Merlin durch nachträgliche Installation verfügbar (z.B. HbbTV, Browser, DLNA...). Viel Spass mit Merlin4 (OE2.5)

Sowas gibt es nicht und wir tolerieren auch keine Verbreitung von BackUps unseres Images. Auch wäre eine Verbreitung der erwähnten Plugins ein Verstoss gegen die Vorgaben von gutemine. Bitte respektiere seine Entscheidung. Danke

the new image Merlin_OE-2.5-dm920-experimental-20230317.tar.xz has a pb and crash with green screen when i try to install enigma2-skin-hdsuisse.fhd_merlin_8.2_all.deb.
please find below the error. receiver DM920.

I don't see any problem here. The command is only telling you that you have to install a package (enigma2-plugin-skincomponents-runningtext).
If there's a crash then there's a crashlog which you must adjust to get support.

if you install manually, you need to install the dependency. Run: apt-get -f -y install
The skin can also be installed online in the addon manager. That is easier.

Hi all; Some official skins (lack,north,flat.ui) needs "enigma2-plugin-skincomponents-runningtextdeb" file that can not install online. Thats why I installed runningtext file and after I can install skins.

I am not able to find way to upload the screenshoot and the crash, so i upload them to mediafire, please find below the link.
this error when i try to install enigma2-skin-hdsuisse.fhd_merlin_8.2_all from online addons
When i tried to run apt-get -f -y install , i could not find the skin becasue it was deleted
I have the same error when i tried to install Nuke Evolution skin fro Recomeded addons, please see screen shoot.
